Capri’s summer season kicks off, from Bezos to Magic Johnson: ‘Relaxing on the Blue Island’

The weekend that began on 4 July, America’s Independence Day, in Capri was what will probably go down as the most celebrated weekend of the summer. A warm weekend kicked off at the Teatro del Quisisana with an award ceremony honouring Paul Feig, director of the film *Another Simple Favour*, which was largely shot in Capri between the Piazzetta and the halls of the luxurious Grand Hotel Caprese itself, and which was screened in a preview immediately after the ceremony.
